Elopement

Jessica + Adam | Isle of Skye, Scotland Elopement

When Jessica and Adam first inquired and booked with us, their wedding was going to be in their home state of West Virginia. However, as anyone that has ever planned a wedding can probably relate to, wedding planning can be stressful. After spending a day having to pick out napkins, Jessica had enough and asked if we would still be willing to shoot their wedding, even if they eloped (the answer will always be yes to that). The next day, the West Virginia wedding was cancelled and a trip to Scotland was booked! December came around and without ever actually meeting in person, we all said "hiya!" to Scotland and met in Glasgow. We had quite the adventure just getting from Glasgow to the Isle of Skye. We spent the next week staying cozy in our adorable AirBnb, exploring Portree, castles, attempting to pet sheep, eating shortbread and ice cream and drinking mochas, and even a trip over to Loch Ness. Jessica and Adam read their vows on top of a mountain next to the Old Man of Storr in the presence of numerous sheep. It was an incredible week and we are so thankful to have been on this adventure with Jessica and Adam.

Hillary + Daric | Oregon Coast Elopement

Cedar Point has played a vital role in our lives. It not only introduced the two of us to each other back in 2007, but it has lead to us getting to shoot some amazing weddings in really awesome places. Back in February we were sitting in Sedona, Arizona about to get out to watch the sunset over the red rocks. That's when Hillary sent a message asking us if we'd be interested in going to Oregon later this year to shoot their elopement. This was a big surprise because technically they weren't even engaged. We were super excited and helped to try and pick the perfect location for them (since they had never even been to the PNW). The wedding was a secret for almost all of their friends and family. After surviving some lost baggage and an error with their car rental, we introduced them to Mod Pizza and went to the coast. They got ready together in their castle suite   and had one of the best first looks ever! They had their ceremony above a waterfall overlooking the ocean at Hug Point and we grabbed lunch at a local brewery. We hiked, got attacked by bugs, and climbed over rocks, logs and water. It was perfect and we were so honored to be part of it!
