Why do an engagement session

Engagement sessions are included with every wedding booking. Whether you choose to do one or not is up to you. We love engagement sessions because they help us get to know you and help you get comfortable in front of the camera. Many people have never had professional photos taken of themselves before; and even less people have had professional photos taken of them as a couple. Engagement sessions help us to get the awkwardness out and help you to be confident in front of the camera on your wedding day. It can help build your trust in us that we are going to make you look your best. Also, they are very useful to help promote your wedding day on Save the Dates and wedding websites, as well as for guest books at your wedding or just for announcing your engagement on Facebook and Instagram.

Timing

Engagement sessions can be done any time before the wedding. It just depends what you would like to use the photos for. Traditionally, Save the Dates are sent out about 6 months before the wedding. Therefore, we should plan on doing your engagement session sometime before then.
